Outside the Box

July 12 - 23, 2021

We will have a mix of in person and online classes for this year's program!

What is Outside the Box?

Outside the Box (OTB) is an innovative program designed specifically for TAG & high-ability students entering grades 8-10 in Fall of 2020. Teens will  pursue topics of interest through a unique combination of in-depth, challenging academic explorations, group activities, and opportunities to explore expanded problem-solving through new experiences. The program offerings allow for self-discovery, excitement, and challenges to match students' interests and abilities. Participants select topics to expand current interests or investigate new areas while meeting others who share the same interests.

** Outside the Box is sponsored by OSU Precollege Programs, corporate and private donations and has been developed with guidance from an advisory board of OSU personnel, public school administrators, and area TAG specialists.

   Meeting Information

Outside the Box meets Monday through Friday July 12 to 23, 2021 on the OSU campus for in person classes and online for virtual classes.

Boxed lunches will be available for $10.95. They include a sandwich or wrap, two composed salads, a dessert, and a beverage.
